I was unable to locate this doll anywhere except through Amazon. This made her collection complete. This was my first time shopping on Amazon and was completely satisfied. It arrived faster than the purchase placed with Mattel the same day and in perfect condition.

It's OKOctober 5, 2008 JB fan(Thomasville, GA) I collect Barbies and I think this one was OK. The weird thing is that I got a "Frenchy" stand with my Rizzo doll. Can't figure out how that happened. I agree with the reviewer who said it really doesn't look like the actress, but I guess there's only so much you can do with that.

After the brilliance that was the first 2 Barbie as Sandy Dolls in the Grease collection as well as the current "Cheerleader" Sandy, this doll is a huge disappointment. Not only does the face really not resemble Stockard Channing, the hair is a mess(also several little bits of it can be seen stuck to the inside of the box that I received and in nearly every box I have seen in stores.) While the outfit is cute and true to the character , it looks very cheaply made. While I suppose the doll is worthwhile for the true collector of Grease memorbilia, others should probably stick with the Cheerleader Sandy.
